Yet another touchscreen model is launched on the now-popular touchscreen cellphone market. This time, French company ModeLabs has presented their new MyWay Touch. It features a 2.4″ display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. The photocamera, instead, has a maximum resolution of 3.2Megapixel.
The design seems to be the key point on this model, and the company has also included the accelerometer, the bluetooth, multimedia player, FM radio and support to microSD cards. The battery guarantees, according to the official data, a little over 2 hours in conversation.

More news about the announced widgets on the next version of Microsoft’s mobile Operational System. Some information about the microapplications, or widgets, and how they’ll be implemented on the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS have been published on the official Windows Mobile Team blog.
It seems that Microsoft will adapt to the existant standard for widgets, made by the W3C group. Since the widgets are actually mini-web pages, they will be able to support not only HTML, CSS, AJAX and Javascript, but also Flash and many ActiveX plugins that could be present on the phone, such as those to use the Media Player.
The widgets will also have their own icon and be inserted into the application menu and have the feel of a standalone application.

The guys from Pocketnow have made a video with the unboxing of the Mobinnova Ice, a smartphone with Windows Mobile 6.1 and featuring two screens, one is a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen, and the second one, smaller, features OLED technology and is used as a D-pad or for specific application functions.
It’s also compatible with HSDPA and features GPS with aGPS, Bluetooth, microSD, 3.1 Megapixel photocamera, Wi-Fi and FM Radio. It could be a good alternative to other smartphones with Windows Mobile such as the Touch Diamond II or Samsung Omnia, especially if the price is competitive.
