Microsoft’s own Windows Phone 7 phone probably in 2011?
During the Mobile World Congress 2010, Microsoft presented their new Windows Phone 7 Series, and showed a small demo of the new OS in a device manufactured by Asus. But it wasn’t really specified whether that smartphone will be sold in the future or not.
Would the smartphone currently being “perfectioned” by Asus be the Microsoft phone, something similar to what Nexus One did with Google and HTC? According to Ashok Kumar, the analyst who had the first details about the Google Nexus One, Asus and Microsoft have found some difficulties during the manufacturing of the Microsoft smartphone, but it is a possibility.
The Microsoft-Asus device could be launched in 2011, obviously featuring Windows Phone 7 Series. But before this can happen, if it will happen at all, the Windows Phone 7 Series will be featured in devices manufactured by HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and Toshiba.
