During the latest Sony Ericsson event, the company has launched a new type of headphones called Motion Activated MH907. Upon a first glance, they seem like all the others, but there’s something that makes them different.

Sony Ericsson has eliminated the keys to answer calls. In order to stop a song or answer the phone, the user needs to remove one of the headphones. Removing both will stop the songs, while putting them back on restart them. The headphones weight 25 grams and they’ll be available by the end of this year. The price has not yet been confirmed.

Below we have some pictures and a video that introduce the product. Enjoy!

We’re back from our brief vacation with more news for you. While for now we’re talking about HSDPA connectivity in our cellphones, in a few years we’ll be hearind a lot of LTE, the new mobile connection protocol that promises a 100 Mbps speed in download and 50 Mbps in upload. The question, of course, is when will we get it?

The Metro PCS carrier has the answer for that, with the announcement that the company has already started developing a LTE-compatible device with the partnership of Samsung to be sold from 2010 on, capable of using the LTE networks currently managed by Ericsson’s infrastructure.

We’ll have to wait and see!
