From Russia, another Android cellphone: HighScreen PP5420
One of the high points on Android is the fact that it’s not exclusive to any cellphone brand. In theory, any manufacturer can create an Android-based cellphone, and that’s what the Russian company HighScreen has done with their PP5420. After years of partnership with Windows Mobile, the company has decided to use Google’s OS on this model, that measures 114 x 53,5 x 13 mm and weighs 120 grams.
The 3″ display has a resolution of 428×240 pixels and the photocamera takes pictures up to 3 Megapixels and has autofocus. The connectivity is done through HSDPA and HSUPA protocols, and the internal 256MB memory is expandable with microSD cards. Other features include the Wi-Fi, FM radio, accelerometer and bluetooth.
