We’ve seen it in pictures and some of the technical specifications a few days ago, and today we bring the first video for the new Samsung i7500, the first Samsung device to have Android, Google’s OS.

In the video (courtesy of Slashgear), we can see both the hardware and the software, although it’s not very detailed. The release of such a video right now should probably mean that the device will be in fact launched in June. We’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, enjoy the video!

The Omnia HD wasn’t even launched yet, but according to a rumor, Samsung would be already working on an Omnia Pro featuring a QWERTY slide keyboard, whcih proved successful with the HTC Touch Pro and Xperia X1 models.

According to the rumors, the Omnia Pro should feture a 3.5″ display with WVGA AMOLED quality, a 5 Megapixel photocamera and Windows Mobile 6.1, upgradeable to the 6.5.

It seems that even a launch period has been determined, and the rumors say it should be launched during summer. Obviously, the fact that so many details that are usually kept secret until the official launch are available now, makes us think that this is a fake. But we’ll keep tuned, in any case.

It was first seen at the Mobile World Congress, and now we finally have more information about the Samsung Halley (which was first known as S5600).

The display is a 2.8 QVGA with widget interface in order to allow users to customize their own homepage with shortcuts for their favorite applications. The HSDPA connection guarantees data transfers up to 7.2 Mbps, and the 3.2 megapixel photocamera and the multimedia files are the main points on the multimedia section.

Another interesting thing is the gesture control that allows users to open applications and perform operations by drawing a letter on the screen, from A to Z, and setting each letter to a command.

The Samsung Halley will be available from May on, price hasn’t still been announced.

Another video for the HTC Touch Diamond II, made by Pocketnow, shows a little bit of the software that will come with the new model and its features.

The software on the video is very similar to what will be the final version, and it shows a good fluidity in the many operations, such as menu navigation and Internet browser (Opera). Even though the design didn’t please the fans of the previous model, the Diamond II seems to at least offer a good software optimization, even though it’s not yet the final version.

    Enjoy the video!
