Asus P835 officially announced
Despite signing a collaboration with Garmin for the Nuvifone, Asus also intends to jump on the mobile phone market on its own, and the first step towards that goal is the launch of the new Asus P835. It’s a touchscreen device that measures 115 x 59 x 13.8 mm and weighs 148 grams. Its display is 3.5″ wide and has a 800×480 pixel resolution, viewing more than 65.000 colors. The photocamera has the resolution of 5 Megapixel and autofocus.
The network connectivity is supported by the HSDPA protocol up to 7.2 Mbps, while the 4GB internal memory is expandable through microSD and microSDHC cards. It features a Qualcomm 7201A processor with 528Mhz and 256MB RAM, necessary in order to use the Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro Operational System.
