The launch of the new Toshiba TG01
The Mobile World Congress will also be the sage where Toshiba, the well-known computer manufacturer, will show their new entries also on the touch screen cellphone market. Their main entry is called TG01 and it seems almost an iPhone copy when it comes to its aesthetical design.
“”We’ve taken all the technology from our TVs and put that into the screen”, the UK and Ireland Country Manager for Toshiba has declared, referring to the large 4,1″ display and the 480×640 pixel resolution.
Amongst the many features, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor with 1GHz, browser with flash plug-in support, HSDPA and GPS connections, acceleormeter and an expandable memory through microSD cards. All we can hope is that the batter duration is good enough to handle all that.
But we’ll see it for ourselves in a few weeks.
